How to include a favicon in Chrome?

I saw a previous post on this from 2011, but it didn't work for me.

I was wondering if anyone else has gotten this to work? I included 

<link rel="shortcut icon" href="www.**webadress*/favicon.png"/>

in the header section of the webframe.html. It looks like it sort of worked in that it doesn't display the default icon, but there is just the "page" icon in it's place and not the one I'm pointing to.

Any suggestions? Thank you!

  Hi Megan,

  Have you copied your icon to your project directory and then added it as an other file?

  
  To do this, you need to right click "Other Files" on the project explorer, and select "Add Existing Other FIle". From there, simply navigate to your project directory and select the favicon.ico file.
  
  It will then be copied to the root of the output directory, where the browser will recognize it from.
