Cannot check out files from TFS2010 from HelpStudio 2011

Hi, I hope someone can help me with the following problem. Our company has migrated from Team Foundation Server 2008 to TFS 2010. The HS projects were created in HelpStudio 3.
We are now running HS 2011. HS 2011 connects easily to the TFS server, and I can open projects from source control, but where you would expect “Check out”-buttons, there is only “You cannot make changes as the file is read-only”. I cannot check out files for editing!

I can check out files via the Source Control Editor in VS, so my user rights should be sufficient.

  I apologise for any inconvenience this problem may have caused you. 

  Can you confirm if you are opening your project via the "Open from Source Control" option on the HelpStudio application menu?

  Thanks Matt, Yes, I am opening my project from Source Control. In the dialog: For the "Store the local project copy in the folder", I browse to the folder where the project is located in the branch I'm working on. (The HS3 version is still there, but I have also tried with a fresh location). For "Source Control Project", I browse the TFS-tree to locate the appropriate folder. I did find a workaround. In Visual Studio: - I checked out all the files, to make them writable. - Copied them to another branch on my computer. - Opened and converted the project to HS 2011. - Added the project to source control from HS. And now I have to move the new project into the Main branch (and hope I dont break anything).
