I need to deliver a help system on January 2, 2009. It was easy to change the copyright date in the Template Properties, but the non-scrolling footer still said Copyright 2008.
I tried replacing %%year%% in the Page Footer (non scrolling) line to %%2009%%, which didn't work. Then forced the issue by replacing the whole thing with 2009.
Just in case anyone else is going nuts with this one!

There are 2 places to set this:
1) You can set this is in the Project Settings / Project Properties page and this will be used if no other value for the Copyright Notice has been defined in any of the Profiles being built.
2) You can also set this in the Build Profile / Properties page, this will override any value defined in the Project Settings.
This way the Project Properties will give you a default value and the Build Profile value can be specific to each Profile.
Also you should have no issue's using variable in these fields.
