Separate project template for .NET 4.0

I know that .NET Framework introduced the Entity Framework and other changes. That's why we have a separate project template?

I just want to be clear so when I give the team lead 3 separate help files to give to the installer folks (one for VS 2010 pre-4.0, one for VS 2010 4.0, and one for VS 2005 and 2008), I have something sensible to say when he asks "What the ... ?"

  I'm not sure what you mean by project template, but if you are delivering help for integration with Visual Studio 2005-2010 then you need to ship 2 formats - Help 2.x for 2005-2008 and Microsoft Help Viewer for 2010. Microsoft completely re-wrote the help system in VS 2010, hence the need for a different format.
