Can I have multiple Document!X projects per HelpStudio project?

Hi,

I need to have multiple Document!X projects associated with my HelpStudio project, one for the class library reference and one for database schema. It looks like HelpStudio is limited to one Document!X project -- is this true? Is there a way around this?

The main scenario for doing this is to arrange them in a particular order in the HelpStudio TOC. I understand that I can have both class libraries and database schemas in the same Document!X project but I'd prefer to handle them seperately.

  Hello,

  You can only have one Document!X project associated with any given HelpStudio project, however you can create a HelpStudio project for each Document!X project and use the Runtime merge feature to bring them all together at build time. Using this feature would also enable you to place the Child TOC nodes (The merge process requires one Master project while the rest are children of that master) where you would like in the TOC giving you control over the positioning of the related Document!X projects.

  Thanks for the reply, I think this will work. I am running into a problem, however, when trying to display these in the table of contents. If you want screenshots let me know. When referencing the child CHM files in the TOC I've used just the name without the file extension, the name with quotes, the full name (with the file extension) with and without quotes, and the original name of the CHM as it was compiled (as shown in the title bar if the child CHMs are opened on their own). No matter what I do I can't get them to appear in the final (master) TOC.

  Is there something else I have to configure? I know the child CHMs are being compiled into the master because of the master's size.
