how to insert an Image (company logo) in the header of the templates

Hi folks,

I'd like to insert an image (company logo) into the header of the standard template (on the right side of the header). 

I already cloned the standard template but my HTML-knowledge is not good enough to find a way to the insert.

Maybe someone of you can help me.

  In the Template editor, you need to select Page Layouts > Standard.html. Switch to HTML view and look at table id "pagetoptable1". This is the table that defines the layout of that top banner, with the topic title, project title and so on. The sample code below shows how I divided the table to show a company logo (INSERTLOGO.PNG) on the right of the page title, but above the Send Feedback link.

  You then need to copy the company logo to the Images folder within the template itself, which is in a slightly different location depending on which version of Windows you're using. For Windows Vista and Windows 7, it's in C:\ProgramData\innovasys\documentx5\templates\YourTemplate\images. Hope this helps.

   there doesn't appear to be a standard.html for webhelp in 2011. Which file(s) do I need to edit to insert a custom header and footer?

  If you are using 2011 you can simple use the Branding page in the profile editor to specify your logo. If you want to further customize the standard header area, you would create a custom topics template (the webhelp template contains just the frame pages for the web ready output).
