Subfolders in the project explorer

 Hello,

 Is there a possibility to create subfolder of a folder in the project explorer?

  Hello,

  I assume you mean the files other than Topics. Other files/Images etc. Helpstudio will automatically place these as they are added to the Project. Obviously the Topic files won't have subfolders as they represent Individual Topics.I hope this answers your question,

   I guess Patrick meant Sub-categories rather than sub-folders.

  I'm afraid it's not possible to create sub-categories at this time. However it is something on our to-do list for a future release.

  So how did you create the HelpStudio 3 Help files?  They have sub-categories.  They make the files much more readable.

  Hello,

  I apologize for any misunderstanding. When creating a Table of Contents you can have as many levels as you like. These Table of Contents nodes will usually have a property of Link to a Topic. Nodes can be created in the Table of Contents or taken straight from the Project Explorer using drag and drop. As for structuring, Table of Contents nodes can be moved around using drag and drop or the movement (arrow) toolbar buttons within the Project Explorer.
