I'm having a problem in customizing the font of the table of contents in the generated chm file. I've searched for similar issues in help studio guid and among the posts on the site, the only relevent artile found is Article 2372 - and it was about the pdf file.
I've tried to change the style sheets and added a new element into "helpstudio.css" (table.tableofcontents td, table.tableofcontents th) but there was no effect.
Would you please help me

I'm afraid the Font in the Table of Contents within a CHM isn't customizable. This is down to the HTML viewer and isn't something we can change at this time.

Thanks allot for you response, but I used to work on "RoboHelp", and changing the font and size of the table of contents was feasable there.
I'd like to know if there is a possibility to add this feature into "HelpStudio", cause it's necessary specially when using eastern languages - mainly Arabic; as the current used font and size is not clear.
We've purchased "HelpStudio 3" (1 user) and we're planning on purchasing license for (5 users), and the decesion will depend on the possibility to add this feature into the program.

Although there isn't a specific option for this in the HelpStudio UI, you can modify the template files that HelpStudio uses to generate the Html Help project files in order to define a custom font. The standard template.hhc file contained in the directory of the template that you are using contains this:

The value of the Font param is of the format <fontname>,<fontsize>,<charset>.
You can find the template.hhc file in the template directory beneath \documents and settings\all users\application data\innovasys\documentx5\configuration\templates (\programdata\innovasys\documentx5\configuration\templates on Vista).
