Generation of TOC question

Hi,

when documenting my VB6 projects with Document!X it occurs that there are methods and properties of the same name in different classes of the project. In this case Document!X appends the project name in braces to the node caption in the projects methods or properties.

That's not helpful for me because the node captions are already the same with this. What I want is the class name appended here (or alternatively project and class name). In the index the entries are exaxtly formed as I expect it also in the TOC

Is it possible to configure Document!X to get the TOC node captions generated as described?

Hello,

You could create a custom Table of Contents definition and change the node captions from %%localitemtitle%% to %%itemname%% (%%modulename%%) for the method and properties nodes. That should achieve the formatting you describe.

Hello,

I changed %%Item_Title%% in $$Methods$$ to %%itemname%% (%%modulename%%).

With default %%Item_Title%% I got this:
- Add (MyLib)
- Add (MyLib)
- Clone
With %%itemname%% (%%modulename%%) I got this:
- Add (MyClass1)
- Add (MyClass2)
- Clone (MyClass1)
But want I want is this (Class Name in Braces behind only if name of Method or Property is not unique in the lib):
Add (MyClass1)
Add (MyClass2)
Clone

In the index list of the chm the items are shown this way:

Add Method (MyClass1)

Add Method (MyClass2)

Clone Method

So I wonder why you don't do it the same way at both places. I couldn't find a way to filter out unique and not unique methods/properties to get what I want in the TOC. If it's possible to do it i.e. with the Content driven filter string then please give me a hint how to do.
