Bookmarks in url

Hi

We are currently working with defining af refernce method which serves the purpose of our system.
We have found the idea to have Topicnames reflect the "folders" which are not supported in help studio html build.

so we have a succesfull reference like this.

Help.domainname.com/controls.button.html (perfect!)

Now the next thing is to dynamicly build a URL to a specific property for the button control and this is where the use of the Bookmark in Helpstudio come in. (Nice!)

e.g. now the url would look like this:
Help.domainname.dk/controls.button.html#defaulttext
This of course is very nice however making use of the DropDown section (or any hide) widget renders bookmarks pointless since a bookmark "hidden" in a dropdown section will no show as the dropdown section does not expand to the bookmark level!

(on a nother node Webframe TOC does not expand to help topic level as well!!)

This may be due to missing parameters in our call, can someone help out here or maybe give an idea to how to solve this situation.

  The Bookmark issue is something we are looking into for a future update. As you have pointed out they are hidden so are not recognized.

  Hello

  I was wondering if something had been developed last year...

  I would be very happy to be able to use an anchor (or "bookmark") in a URL, something like www.mysite.com/webframe.html?mytopic.hml#myanchor

   ... wich would open the "mytopic.html" page inside the navigation frameset, and down to the "myanchor" bookmark

  I have a long page or many very small items not worth having a topic page of their own but which I would like to be able to target for easier reference.

  Thank you very much for the suggestion this will be logged as a feature request. We will notfiy you when this one is implemented, I'm afraid we can't specify a time on this however.
