Build Profiles

Hi,

I generally have projects 2 build profiles:

1. Compiled HTML Help 1.x file
2. Compiled Microsoft Help 2.x and Web Help

Lately, I noticed a change in the profiles. They now read:

1. Compiled HTML Help 1.x file and Web Help
2. Compiled Microsoft Help 2.x and Web Help

I don't know how the Web Help got on to the build profile for the Compiled HTML Help 1.x. I tried to remove it, but can't find the option to do so. I looked in the Build Profile dialog's Target Output page, and it's set as follows:

• "Output Directory" - location is specified. 
• "Compile a help file" is checked.
• "HTML Help 1.x" is checked.
• "Runtime Merge Files" and "Include Text Popup file" are clear/blank.
• "Compile the help file to" - location is specified.

Is there some place where it states whether the Help 1.x file should include the Web Help or not?

Could you please let me know how to exclude Web Help from the build profile for the Compiled HTML Help 1.x file?

  Hello,

  If you open your Build Profile for edit and select Output Target, you will find an option in here "Remove source output files after compiling into a help file". If you select this option it will remove the HTML files and "Web Help" from your Build Profile.

  That worked like a charm. But, I never would have associated the two on my own. Your explanation of the option is more direct than the way the option is phrased in the HS.
