Performance is an issue

Hi,

I have just installed the trial version. It was going well until I added a large assembly to the project to include a structure in the documentation.

I am referencing a single structure from the large assembly and this has increased the build time to 21 minutes from a few seconds.

Why should it have to re-analyse a module that hasn't changed?

Why should it analyse something that is 99% filtered out?

Is there anything that can be done?

Both DLL's are .Net 1.1.

  Document! X does selective and on demand loading to improve performance, but it still populates basic type information assembly wide in order to ensure that types are correctly resolved in the documentation. If you could forward a copy of your project and assemblies to support@innovasys.com we would be happy to take a look and see if we can make any suggestions to improve performance in this case.
