How can I build a Document! X project within Visual Studio 2010? I am
currently using the right-click feature to Edit Documentation, and my
comments are injected into my source code, but I don't know how to build
and then access the project documentation as a whole.
I have tried opening the binaries in the Document! X application, but
none of my comments are present.
Thanks in advance!

You can create a new Document! X project from inside Visual Studio by clicking on the blue Document! X toolbar button, you can then build this project by selecting the "Build documentation" context menu option on the .dxp file in the Solution Explorer.
Alternatively you can create a Document! X project outside of Visual Studio (or open the project created inside Visual Studio) and add any assemblies or other reference documentation items or conceptual topics.
For Document! X to pick up your xml source comments you must select the option to compile an xml comment file in your Visual Studio project (it must be named the same as the relevant assembly and be in the same folder). If you are missing an xml comment file there will be a yellow warning icon next to the assembly in the Project Explorer in Document! X.
