RunTime Error

I am new to HS3. We are currently using v3.5.1.19. We converted our help system from RoboHelp last week into HS3. We also use TFS integration for this project.

My question is that I am seeing a lot of runtime errors whenever I check out a topic, or view it in the preview window. (I am reformatting each page in HS3 to use widget and correct formatting that was lost in our conversion.) On some pages there are 8-10 runtime errors on the page. I assume this has something to do with the conversion from RoboHelp. Is there any recommended / automated way to rid our system of these runtime errors?

I need to purge these runtime errors before our next release date in a few weeks.

BTW I really like this product much better than RoboHelp. It rocks!

  Hello,

  These types of errors can sometime's be caused by left over .js file from the RoboHelp project. Can you look for any .js files you may have in the Project Explorer and remove these. I would suggest making a copy of your project to test this procedure on. If this doesn't resolve your issue please send in a copy of your project to support@innovasys.com so we can investigate here.

  I'm getting this error as well, only I have never used RoboHelp. Are there other reasons that could cause this? I'm using Vista at the moment--are there any compatibility issues that we should be aware of?

  I'm testing to see if I have the same problem on a machine running XP. But I'll be disappointed if I can't resolve this issue on my Vista machine.

  I think we were assuming that "runtime error" actually meant "script error" as this is a fairly common problem when importing robohelp script files that depend on a robohelp specific page structure. I wonder if you are in fact getting runtime errors that would appear as an error dialog with our logo on? If that is the case, can you drop an email to support@innovasys.com so that we can assist further.

  HelpStudio 3 is fully compatible with Vista so that would not specifically be the cause of any issue.
