Non-scrolling region

I am new to HelpStudio.  I am looking for a means to do one of the following:

1) Add a non-scrolling region to the topic below the exisitng non-scrolling header or

2) Add an item to the existing non-scrolling header region.

I have a few topics that contain a lot of content.   I would like to provide a means for the reader to easily get back to the top of the page.   If I could place the hyperlink/bookmark in a non-scrolling region, then it would eliminate the need to place the hyperlink in multiple places in the topic content, reduce overhead and clutter on the page.

 Any assistance that you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

  Hello,

  One way for you to do this is to alter an existing link in the Non Scrolling Region. The Feedback link is typically favourite for this purpose.
  
  1) Go Tools / Options / Templates / (select the template you are using) Edit / Page Layouts / (select standard.html) Edit.
  2) Switch to HTML view and scroll to the bottom.
  3) Locate <div id="mainbody"> and create a new line under this.
  4) Place this in the new line "<a id="PageTop" name="PageTop"</a>".
  5) Save and Close.
  6) Open the project settings.
  7) Select Project Properties.
  8) Place this in the Feedback link HTML field <a href="http://www.innovasys.com/cs/forums/EditPost.aspx?PostID=1062&ReturnUrl=%2fcs%2fthemes%2fdefault%2fforums%2fthread.aspx%3fThreadID%3d414%26PostID%3d1062%26PermaPostID%3d1062%231062#PageTop" mce_href="http://www.innovasys.com/cs/forums/EditPost.aspx?PostID=1062&ReturnUrl=%2fcs%2fthemes%2fdefault%2fforums%2fthread.aspx%3fThreadID%3d414%26PostID%3d1062%26PermaPostID%3d1062%231062#PageTop">Top Of Page</a>
  
  This will turn the Feedback link into a Top of Page link. I hope this helps.
  
  The section of that link that is http://.....23106 should be removed as it should only be "#PageTop" unfortunatly the Forum is formatting teh HTML I am trying to show you.

  Thanks this is working.  I have a related question.  Now that I have made these changes, the See Also and the Top of Page links are no longer separated by a space.  How do I get that space back so that the 2 links don't run together?

  I'm assuming your custom template is based on the 2008 style template, but the idea is the same for other templates.

  1. Go back in to the template page layout editor, switch to Html view and locate this table row:

  2. Now find the end of the See Also bookmark and the feedback link, and insert a non breaking space (&nbsp;) like this:
