Old files from DocX2008 do not display in DocX2010 Using the Help Viewer Format

 We have generated a Users Manual purely from using Microsoft WebExpressions 2 using DocX2008. When I add these files for the newer DocX2010 as 'other files' and use them in the table of contents and content of the users manual, they do not display.

Do you know since what may be causing the display problem, and if the files need to be translated to support the new Microsoft Help Viewer format?  If I create new pages using the DocX2010 editor, the new pages will display.  But if I try to include the old files from the new pages, they will not display.

 

If I generate help using the 1.0 or 2.0 help formats, these files display properly.

  The format of content files in Microsoft Help Viewer is very specific - you cannot just include regular Html files. I would advise importing your content into Document! X 2010 topics.

   Thanks Richard for the reply.  Could you tell me how to import content into the topics?  I can add files using Other files, but that doesn't display using that technique.
