Adding an external image?

Ok, there's probably a really simple answer for this, but I can't figure out how to get an external image inside a new topic I added into my docx 2010 project. Looked in the Help and couldn't find anything there.

When I click the Image button from the Content Authoring tab, the Select Image dialog appears. But there isn't any way to browse to a directory and choose the image. I'm guessing this Select Image dialog is for adding an image that's already added to the project... but not sure.

Can anyone help?

  The basic idea is that you need to add your image file to the project (using the Add Image File on the Project Ribbon Tab) before you include it in content.
