OK, my first day with Help Studio is over. Overall, great job! One questions: How can I tell what topics have not been included in the table of contents? You have tools to find unused images but I don't see anything that tells me what topics only appear in the project explorer. Also, I thought it was a nice idea that you can create the same hierarchy in project explorer that you use in table of contents. I expected to be able to just drag all the categories and topics over to the table of contents tab, but when I do that, the categories do not convert to headings. Why not? They form a link, but there is no text. Is this an oversight? It would make working with TOC so much easier. Thanks.

Permanently deleted user You can do this using the Filter button on the Project Explorer toolbar. On the dialog that is displayed when you click that button, tick the Only show topics that are not included on the Table of Contents option and then click OK. The Project Explorer will then be filtered to show only those Topics that you haven't included on the Table of Contents.
You are correct that dragging Categories from the Project Explorer doesn't automatically create book nodes with the Topic Category caption. I will log that as a suggestion for a future update - sorry I couldn't be of more help on that one at this time.
