We have ASP .NET custom controls that we need to generate API documentation for. The code is C# and javascript. It would be nice to combine those into a single chm file.
Is that possible using Document! X? If so how?

Permanently deleted user You can document several ASP.NET custom control assemblies in a single project by adding them to the .NET Assemblies page in the project editor - is that what you meant?

advsol In our custom controls, we have the javascript files as embedded resources. How can I generate documentation off of both the C# code comments and the javascript comments and combine these into a single chm file?
Any examples or documentation regarding this?

Permanently deleted user Document! X doesn't include functionality for documenting generic Javascript files I'm afraid, although we have a Document! X version currently in beta that supports the documentation of client ASP.NET Ajax javascript (http://www.innovasys.com/download/beta.aspx). The current beta requires that you document from external javascript files, but we plan to include support for documenting directly from assembly resources before the update is finally released.

advsol That is exactly what we are looking for. We can really take advantage of the documentation of external or embedded javascript files in addition to the .NET code.
I will give the beta version a shot.
