How do I add introductory help topics to a Document! X project? For example, "Welcome to the Product X API Help," "Introduction to the Product X API," "Using the Product X API Scripts," etc.
I'd like these topics, and their children topics, to show up in the TOC before the solution content nodes in the TOC. Am I supposed to use HelpStudio for this? If so, I can't see how you add a TOC entry in Doc X and then have it map to the topics in HelpStudio.

I'm answering my own question. I was looking to do this from Document! X. But I see that I actually do it from Help Studio.
I followed the instructions in the help (they were a little bit off), figured it out, and ran a successful build.

Document! X 2010 now includes comprehensive conceptual topic authoring features, but if you are using Document! X 2008 you can still add manually authored .html files to the project on the ‘Additional Files’ page in the Document! X project editor, and then modify the Table of Contents to include Nodes for the additional files.
