If a comment exists in the code as XML and there is a comment in DocX then the default behaviour is for DocX to overwrite the comment in the code.
I would like to reverse this conflict resolution.
Some option setting I am missing?

You can change this behavior on the ".NET Source Comments" page in the Document! X 2010 Build Profile Editor. The value you describe is "Always use where defined".
Thanks for the reply. I should have mentioned I am DocX2008 - I did a search on "Always AND use AND where AND defined" but did not get any hit. Is there a different way to do this in DocX2008?
